The launch of the App Store wowed the mobile industry with the ability to download a variety of apps such as games, GPS navigation, social networking and more creating quite a frenzy that was sadly only enjoyed by iPhone users.

We (Chaotic Moon Studios and all the other technology geniuses) knew it was only a matter of time before another software developer like Microsoft would come out with its own unique version of the iPhone, in this case WP7 (Windows Phone 7).

Now, everything the iPhone can do, the WP7 can do, too, especially with developers like the Chaotic Moon team working to make it possible. As a preferred partner of Microsoft, our team has proudly developed 10 of the top 20 apps enjoyed by WP7 users today.

As if that’s not enough, we’ve also worked with some of our A-lister clients and other top brands in the world to port top iPhone apps to the WP7 platform. Who, you may ask? To name a few … Groupon, Pizza Hut, Falling Skies, TripIt, Best Buy, Betty Crocker and TNT.

We worked with these brands and Microsoft to adapt and optimize their iOS apps for the unique user experience WP7 offers its users including panoramas, pivot menus and live tiles. Together, we re-envisioned the user interface to launch apps that provide innovative usage of WP7’s live tiles and Microsoft start screen. The result? Microsoft chose to showcase several of these apps worldwide, and many are at the top of the best-selling apps lists in the marketplace.

The Chaotic team also brought Xbox Live games to the WP7 platform, which didn’t go unnoticed. Microsoft selected several of our team’s games to showcase in its gaming WP7 gaming front.
