Riddle us this: What do you do if you can’t hop on the world’s smallest and most unstable off-road vehicle and race through India’s countryside for two weeks with a team of other (possibly even crazier) geniuses for a good cause? Well, you do the next best thing—help pay their way, track the journey and share the adventure with the world.

And that’s what we here at Chaotic Moon Labs are doing. As the leading sponsor for a team of six adventurous Austinites in the popular Rickshaw Run put on by the UK-based organization The Adventurists, our team branded the mighty Indian Auto-Rickshaws and set the guys up with cell phones and video for their wild journey.

There are 69 other teams running around India with our guys, and doing so in an untrusty, three wheeled, half a horse power steed in a race that has no route and no rules except to arrive at the finish line. The team is streaming their blog posts and Twitter conversations at www.lonestarrickshaw.com

Believe it or not, our innovative technological advancements are used for something other than improving the mobile ecosystem and making profits. In this case, our studio’s sponsorship of Team Chaos is also a donation to FRANK Water, an organization that helps build and support community clean water projects. To date, FRANK Water Projects has funded 58 clean water projects, benefiting more than 400,000 people, and we are proud to be a contributor.
