The other night, Stubb’s—one of Austin’s most legendary music venues—sold out for Austin’s own Shakey Graves, but it wasn’t just music that drew the giant crowd.
The concert was benefiting the Waller Creek Conservancy, an organization with the self-proclaimed mission to transform and sustain Austin’s Waller Creek, creating an extraordinary urban place that connects, surprises and inspires all of us. (Here at Chaotic Moon, our CEO Ben Lamm sits on the board, so you know it’s pretty important to us.)
And while Chaotic Moon served as a sponsor of the event, our contribution extended far beyond that. We also provided a killer visual element to accompany the music, courtesy of stunning projection mapping by some of our most talented team members.
This is the second time in two weeks that our team has worked for the WCC cause (see last week’s Waller Creek Art Pop-Up), and as a company, we’re psyched for the opportunity to contribute to an awesome project and what was, that night, a seriously awesome event.
But hey—less reading, more watching the video, eh?
And now, we brag: Big ups to Chaotic Moon’s Tony Moreno, Brad Dugdale, Ryan Padgett, Chenglei Wu, Zac Taylor, Isaiah Same and Michelle Oros, who straight-up killed it.
