We’re Tech-sy and We Know It

02 Sep 2015

When we refer to ourselves as designers, we’re typically talking technology, not fashion, but this year Chaotic Moon will be hitting up the style scene and participating in Tribeza Style Week 2015.

Now to be clear, we’re not suggesting you’ll see a software-inspired CM line hit the runway anytime soon (though we do make some pretty sweet t-shirts), and we’re not talking about our BASE team’s tech-infused take on biocouture. Instead, we’re participating in Style Week in another cool way: by sponsoring the Waller Creek Art Pop-Up, benefitting the Waller Creek Conservancy, where our CEO Ben Lamm sits on the board.

And we’re not just sponsoring the event, either. We’ll also be showing off the skills of our talented team in the form of an awesome interactive projection piece.

The Waller Creek Art Pop-Up will take place at 7:00 pm at the South Congress Hotel. We suggest you check out Tribeza’s official event description below, and buy your tickets now!

Giving back has always been an important part of Style Week’s mission, so we created a new event called the Waller Creek Art Pop-Up to benefit the Waller Creek Conservancy… In the studio, Chaotic Moon Studios will be showcasing interactive projection art. The show will open with a cocktail reception featuring cocktails by Cointreau, Deep Eddy Vodka and brews by Shiner. Featured artists in the show are Fieldings Baxter, Mia Baxter, Chris Bilheimer, Marty Butler, Rich Cali, Mia Carameros, David Clark, Kelly Colchin, Casey Dunn, Ann Edgerton, Alyson Fox, Chelsea Fullerton, Joy Gallagher, Matt Genitempo, Cody Haltom, The Early Hours, LAND, Kate LeSueur, Avalon McKenzie, Aaron Michalovic, Wynn Myers, Matt Rainwaters, Jack Sanders, Nick Simonite, Kelti Smith, Joe Swec, Peggy Weiss and Keith Davis Young. Tickets to the event are $10 and include food and drinks.
